How to play it
Performing
- Tap or click any pad to strike that material. Strike near the top of a pad for a hard hit and near the bottom for a soft one — the bright edge stripe is the strength scale.
- Pads work with touch, mouse, pen and keyboard. Keys 1–6 strike pads directly; Tab then Enter works too.
Looping
- Play runs the 8‑beat loop. Rec arms overdub: everything you strike while it is lit is written into the loop at the position of the playhead, and repeats from the next pass onward.
- Undo removes the hit you added most recently. Clear asks once, then empties the loop.
- Grid snaps recorded hits to sixteenth notes. Turn it off to keep your exact timing, drift and all.
Shaping
- Tempo stretches the whole loop — recorded hits keep their relative places.
- Texture moves every material from damped and soft to bright and brittle: longer glass ring, sharper paper crinkle, wider rain spray.
- Air is the size of the imagined room. Level and Mute control output.
Keyboard
- 1–6 strike pads · Space play/stop · R record · M mute · Z undo · E export loop card
Loop card
- Loop card draws a real PNG snapshot of the loop as it stands — ring, hit placement, material mix and settings — and downloads it. Nothing leaves the browser tab.
